The National Weather Service office in Pleasant Hill has issued a Winter Weather Advisory- posted below in it's entirity.


The advisory is in effect until midnight.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PLEASANT HILL HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SLEET- SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN- WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT CST TONIGHT.

PERIODS OF SLEET AND SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE ADVISORY AREA THROUGH MUCH OF THE EVENING HOURS. LIGHT FREEZING RAIN MAY ALSO MIX IN AT TIMES THROUGH MID EVENING. SLEET MAY BE MODERATELY HEAVY AT TIMES- WITH ACCUMULATION EXPECTED TO BE JUST SHY OF ONE HALF INCH.

THE PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO GRADUALLY BECOME ALL SNOW DURING THE MID TO LATE EVENING HOURS. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS MAY BE AROUND ONE HALF INCH AS WELL.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW- SLEET- OR FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES- AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
