Pedestrian Killed By Hit and Run Vehicle East of Downtown KC-MO

An adult female was killed after being struck by a vehicle near Downtown KC-MO Sunday morning.


The incident was a "hit and run-" and occurred around 12:15 a.m. at 10th Street and Harrison.


Police and EMS reports state a vehicle "going around 40 mph" struck the woman and drove off.

The victim was unresponsive both on the scene and while enroute to a hospital- where she later died of her injuries.

Police were investigating.
