Central States News: Tulsa Tower Man Gives In To Rescue

At 6:38 p.m. and nearly 130 hours without water or food- the man who perched on a 300-foot communications tower and refused to come down in Tulsa got into a fire department ladder truck platform and was lowered to waiting paramedics and rushed to a hospital.

William Boyd Sturdivant II is in serious condition suffering severe dehydration and other medical issues resulting from his aerial performance- according to The TULSA (OK) WORLD.

He looks pretty good but he can actually die from this silliness--I had it happen to a patient of mine--he passed after several days in the hospital. He seemed to be doing well and then just crashed and never recovered.

This is when the rules that confine mental health treatment get difficult...
