Joplin MO Tornado Death Toll Now At 151 - Cat Found Alive



As of Thursday afternoon- June 9- the death toll from the May 22 tornado that devastated southern Joplin MO stands at 151.


Riverside MO Public Safety officer Jefferson "Jeff" Taylor- who was struck by lightning several days after the tornado and died from his injuries is among those included in the revised toll.


Some good news- a 13-year-old house cat was found still alive in the tornado debris of it's owner's house- according to this story from KOAM-TV 7 in Pittsburg KS-Joplin MO..
