The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pleasant Hill- covering Metro Kansas City- has issued a "Winter Weather Advisory" from 2 p.m. Saturday until 1 a.m. Sunday for Missouri counties JUST east of Metro Kansas City.
Areas generally along and east of a Chillicothe- Polo- Orrick- Odessa- Holden to Clinton line are forecast to receive anywhere from 2 to 5 inches of- ahem- snow.
Yes- snow- my friends- 5 days into spring...
Anyway you cut it- it's going to mostly be a cold and wet weekend and next week- and it doesn't look like we'll return to even 60-degree readings until next Friday- April Fools Day.
