CSW Weather: Only A Slight Risk of Severe Storms Today

To quote a 1960's Philly band- It's A Beautiful Morning.

Should be a lovely day to go vote in Kansas City MO's general election today for a new mayor and council people.

With temperatures well into the 70's today and a cold front approaching- there's a chance for thunderstorms later this Tuesday afternoon and evening.

A few of those storms could be strong to severe- especially as you go north of Kansas City toward the Iowa border.

According to the National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center- no widespread coverage of severe storms is expected- but we will turn colder for the latter portion of this week.

There's even a chance of some (ugh) wintry precipitation by the weekend.

Enough of all that until it happens- please get out and vote if you're allowed/supposed to today.
