This Tornado Watch No. 53 is in effect until 9 p.m. this Tuesday night.
The area included in the watch (see- click on graphics) is generally along and north of U.S. 54 highway- including Pleasanton KS- along and west of U.S. 65 in Missouri west to just east of U.S. 77/Interstate-135 in Kansas.
Thus far- the only strong or severe storms have been reported west of the tornado watch area in Nebraska- but the skies and weather radars will be lighting up during the next several hours.
