Southeastern U.S. Gripped In A Terrible Drought

While concerns were high here for flash flooding this past weekend- up to 26% of the southeastern states are dealing with an "exceptional" drought.

There is no long-term relief in sight.
Lake Lanier- which supplies Atlanta with it's drinking water- is nearly dry with only a 90-day supply of water left. Plans are being made to implement water rationing in Atlanta and other areas of the South.
