Kansas Coal Plant Construction Shot Down

Give at least one Kansan high marks for thinking clearly anyway.

The secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) rejected the application for 2- 700-megawatt coal-fired power plants that were to be built near Holcomb-KS- according to the TOPEKA CAPITAL-JOURNAL.

The company wanting to build the plants- Sunflower Electric Power Corporation- through their spokesman "Steve Miller" said- "We've got a whole wheat truck of lawyers trying to figure out what our next move will be"- the TCJ reports.

Unconfirmed- but a young man named Nelson replied- "HaHa."
