This watch does NOT include Metro Kansas City.Surface heating over the area has increased the severe storm threat, In addition- the Topeka NWS forecast office has also issued a flash flood watch for a few counties near the Nebraska border.
The flash flooding threat also remains high for the K.C. Metro for the next few days as well.
