Body Found In Belton Earlier This Month Identified

The body found by MoDOT workers near U.S. 71 and 163rd Street in Belton on October 11 has been identified.

Belton's THE STAR-HERALD newspaper says KC-MO Police identified the body as that of 26-year-old Celia M. Gonzales- a Hispanic female reported missing on September 18.

Ms. Gonzales' death is being investigated as a homicide.
