Three people have been shot in the area of 57th-58th Streets and Swope Parkway to Mersington.
KCFD-EMS has dispatched 3 paramedic/transport units to at least three scenes in this area and two of the victims are in critical condition.
The third person was reported by KCFD-EMS to have "superficial" gunshot wounds.
One of the critically injured was described by KCFD-EMS 30 as "an about 20-year-old male" who was shot "in the right chest and neck."
That victim was enroute to a Metro hospital with "CPR in progress" and in grave condition.
About 15 minutes later a second victim from this scene was transported by EMS-561 to another hospital: "a 32-year-old male" who was shot "in the left knee."
A short time later- a 3rd victim- "a 54-year-old female with a through and through gunshot wound to the right forearm" was transported by EMS-3 to a third hospital.
There are- as of yet- no other reports of additional victims either at the scene or arriving at a hospital by other means- nor any possible suspect info.
