A male KC-MO firefighter suffered minor injuries while extinguishing hot spots at a vacant house fire.
The fire was reported at 1:32 a.m. CDT in the 3300 block of Benton.
The first-arriving fire crews reported fire showing from the back of a 2-story structure at 1:35 a.m. CDT.
The fire was declared under control 14 minutes later- and a fire/arson investigator was requested to come look the scene over.
At 1:16 a.m. CST- a 2nd EMS unit was sent to the scene for the injured firefighter- who was taken to a KC-MO hospital.
