Lawrence KS emergency services are working a 2 vehicle crash on Iowa Street (U.S. 59) and 19th Street.
The incident was reported at 2:12 a.m. CST Sunday morning and was reported to be "a T-bone" type crash.
There are 2 critically-injured people reported by EMS at this scene- and at least 1 medical helicopter was sent to the scene.
One patient is "a 19-year-old male (un-seatbelted) rear-seat passenger" in serious to critical condition- flown by helicopter to a Metro Kansas City hospital.
Another was "a 17-year-old (un-seatbelted) male driver" in serious condition who was taken by ground ambulance to another Metro K.C. hospital.
A 3rd patient- "a 27-year-old female (un-seatbelted) rear seat passenger" was taken to the Lawrence hospital in good condition.
