Kauffman Center For The Performing Arts A New Kansas City Gem

After 3 years of CSW photos showing it's construction- the ribbon has finally been cut on the new $400-plus-million dollar Kauffman Center For The Performing Arts at 16th Street and Broadway- just south of the Bartle Hall convention center.

The latest photos are from Monday- September 12- the day before the ribbon-cutting.

The first public performances at the Kauffman Center are this weekend.

CSW salutes Julia Kauffman and the late Ewing and Muriel Kauffman for all their contributions to making Kansas City a nicer place to live.
