Lee's Summit R-7 Schools Will Be Under "Full Lockdown" in Future Tornado Warnings

Whether you're a parent trying to get your child or a passerby trying to seek sturdy shelter- don't go to a Lee's Summit school building during a tornado warning.

The LEE'S SUMMIT (MO) JOURNAL reports that the R-7 district school board has decided new policy that in the event of a tornado warning during school hours- each of the district's school buildings will be under a "full lockdown."

That means you can't enter the building for any reason until the warning has expired.
