Olathe firefighters are currently extricating a male around or in his 20's from his truck on southbound I-35 south of Santa Fe.
The call went out to emergency crews at 10:42 a.m. Thursday morning- and upon arrival they found the male driver pinned in the wreckage of the pickup truck he was driving after it left the roadway and "wrapped around a pole" a MEDACT-EMS crew member told Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
The paramedic described the male's injuries to OPR/MC as critical.
Southbound I-35 south of Santa Fe in Olathe will be obstructed- if not closed until this crash is cleared.

I've looked all over the internet and news stations for any other details requarding this accident, and have yet to find any other than yours. Why wasn't this reported on the news stations? I saw this accident first hand and consider it one of the worst I've seen. I don't understand why it wasn't broadcasted more. Thank you for caring enough to blog about.
Sincerly, STUMPED
Why- thank you Stumped for the compliment!
You have to bear in mind- except for 41 Action News' overnights on weekends when they have my services- NONE of the other so-called "news" stations have anybody dedicated to gathering their raw product...NEWS.

Thank you Capt. Spalding, for caring enough to post something about my accident. I have looked all over the place to find news about it but not able to find much. Its been 7 months since this happened and i am doing great thanks to EMS, Firefighters, OPRMC docters and nurses, and Madonna Rehab Hospital. Also thanks to stumped (other blogger) for your concern.
Thanks
