From all accounts- the fire around 3 am Wednesday morning in the 1800 block of North 32nd Street wasn't a big one.
Yet- the "smoldering fire" as several media accounts called it killed the 2 children in the bedroom of the home: a 1 and a 2-year-old.
The cause of that fire was still under investigation as of this post.
