The 7.0 quake that struck Haiti's capitol city of Port-au-Prince struck at 3:53 pm Tuesday afternoon Kansas City time.
That city of an estimated 2 to 3 million population is reported to be "virtually destroyed" by the powerful quake.
Our prayers are with the Haitian people today.
