Traffic on southbound I-35 was backed up more than a mile at times for nearly an hour after a single-car crash just north of 75th Street in Merriam early Sunday morning.
The crash occurred around 12:30 am after a woman lost control of her car and overturned in the median lanes.
Merriam firefighters had to extricate the driver which took about 15 minutes- then she was taken to a nearby medical trauma center.
