A crash on U.S. 24 highway near Blue Mills Road late Saturday night has killed a 16-year-old female.
The crash happened around 11:35 pm when a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old male and going the wrong way on U.S. 24 slammed into a Dodge Neon containing 3 other teens.
One of the teens in the Neon were killed and the other 2 occupants seriously injured- according to later med reports received here at CSW.
The 19-year-old male driver going the wrong way had non life-threatening injuries..
Reports state intoxication of at least one of the drivers (the 19-year-old?) and I'm awaiting an accident report from the Independence Police for more details....
