A Stabbing and a House Fire in KC-KS Overnight News

he 2 o'clock hour Standard Time was busy for Kansas City-KS public safety agencies Sunday morning
.



First there was a house fire at 2:08 am in the 4300 block of Victory Drive.

Smoke and flames were revealed to the first firefighters to arrive at 2:12 am..

Crews found a hole in the floor just inside the front door of the apparently vacant- 1-story structure- but managed to avoid getting hurt.

The fire was under control at 2:26 am and an arson investigator was sent.

Three minutes after the fire dispatch- at 2:11 am- there was an "unknown nature medical call" to an address in the 1800 block of Armstrong.

This resulted to be a "domestic disturbance" according to police reports- with "a male stabbed."

The "55-year-old" victim with "3 stab wounds to the back" was rushed by FD-EMS to a trauma center.

No word on any arrests.

Other KC-KS incidents include:
A non life-threatening cutting victim at 1:11 CDT in the 3700 block of North 60th Street and a 1-vehicle crash in the 3700 block of Kansas Avenue around 12:45 am that involved an intoxicated driver who wasn't badly hurt at all.
