KANSAS CITY MetroRegion WEATHER: NWS Snow Advisory

The National Weather Service offices in Kansas City (Pleasant Hill) and Topeka have issued Snow Advisories for all of the K.C. MetroRegion except eastern and southern portions (area in light blue- click on image to enlarge).

The forecast will be much as mine was yesterday for this event: Light rain- briefly changing to light freezing rain or sleet- then snow- accumulating 2 to 4-inches by Saturday night.

The Captain will be on the bridge overnight tonite with the latest updates and hopefully traffic cam images.
