CSW WEATHER: Strong Storms North of Kansas City

The closest weather watch- for severe thunderstorms- is in Iowa- but as of this time thunderstorms have developed into northeastern Kansas...

As you can see by the NWS radar image here- some strong storms have developed southwest of ST Watch-296.

Strong storms will affect St. Joseph and areas northeast over the next few hours- with large hail the primary severe threat.

Some storms are developing as far south as the Topeka area- and could possibly affect Metro Kansas City this evening if they continue  current movement.
