Police were chasing a male on foot in the area- and officers were told during the chase that the man had a gun.
The suspect reportedly fired on one or more officers.
When the suspect was cornered- he was told to drop the gun and as the suspect turned around still holding the gun- at least 2 officers opened fire,
The suspect died at the scene.

Welp when you are stupid bad things happen to you.
Maybe they'll solve a homicide or two as well- eh SD?
Does anybody know the officers involved? Will they release that information?
