Man Shot During Reported Attempted Street Robbery in KC-MO

KC-MO Police don't have much to go on in investigating a man found shot just northeast of the Downtown freeway loop early Saturday morning.

The victim was found in the 1300 block of East Admiral Boulevard around 5:15 a.m..

The victim told police that he was shot by a "black male" as a result of "an armed street robbery gone bad."

The male victim had a serious-injury gunshot wound- shot in his abdomen with an exit wound out his back- and was transported by EMS to a Metro medical trauma center.

He also told police he would not prosecute the shooter.
