CSW BREAKING: Armed Robbery of Convenience Store/Gas Station in Grandview MO Injures Clerk

At 6:33 a.m. Saturday morning- Grandview MO emergency services responded on an armed robbery at the Shell convenience store/gas station at 12822 South U.S. 71 highway.

The dispatch was also for a "possible gunshot victim-" and a police officer at the scene at 6:35 a.m. says there's a person with a "head wound" but "talking."

The 50-year-old male "clerk" at the station was taken to a KC-MO medical trauma center in good condition.

According to reports- a black male suspect wearing dark-colored pants- a hoodie and a covered face- fired two shots to announce a robbery at 6:30 a.m..

According to reports received- glass was shattered by the shots- (possibly the 50-year-old male clerk was cut by flying glass)- the robbery went down and the suspect left.

It wasn't immediately known what was the suspect's mode of travel or direction from the station's front door or how much was taken in the robbery.
