Central States News: Walmart Developer Gets Corporate Welfare in Metro St. Louis


In yet another chapter of American taxpayers getting the shaft- politicians in the tiny St. Louis suburb of Shrewsbury has awarded more than $15-million in tax breaks to Corporate America.


The developer- with taxpayer-provided welfare- is to build a Walmart and other stores on vacant land in that city of around 7000 people- according to this story in today's ST. LOUIS (MO) POST-DISPATCH.
