House Burns in Far-Northland KC-MO- No Injuries


Six companies of KC-MO firefighters are cleaning up the scene of a fire in a lived-in house just east of North Main on Northeast 113th Street..

The alarm went out at 1:55 p.m. Sunday afternoon when someone called 9-1-1 to report smoke coming from a house near N.E. 113th Street and North Walnut.


 
Nearby Station 3 arrived a minute later- finding smoke coming from the attic-area of a house just east of North Main.

Flames ran most of the attic and roof area of the home until control was gained by the "smoke-eaters" at 2:17 p.m..

No injuries have been reported and there's yet no official cause or damage figure.
