At 10:49 a.m. Tuesday morning- KC-MO emergency services were sent to the marina at Lake Longview on the report of "a body in the water" there.
The body was confirmed at 10:56 a.m.- "by the boat dock."
A Raytown fire unit at 10:57 a.m. added that the body "was about 10 feet off the shore" and was "decayed" indicating the body had "been in the water for awhile."
Police are awaiting the "medical examiner (coroner)" and CSI before removing the body from the water.
No other information is yet available.
