A strong cold front will surge through MetroRegion Kansas City later this week- bringing lots of rain as well as a chance for the area's first frost and/or freeze this weekend.
At this time- it's looking like the precipitation will end before it gets cold enough for snow- but will be watching that situation as we get closer to the weekend.
Nonetheless- be prepared for at least frost in Metro Kansas City with a freeze possible in low-lying and northern areas of the MetroRegion.
