The Topeka (KS) Capitol-Journal reports that a 14-year-old girl was shot and killed late Friday night in Augusta-KS- about 20 miles east of Wichita...
The story says there was "an underage drinking party" going on at the time- and that "a 25-year-old man" at the party had pulled out a gun to show it off and the gun went off- killing Augusta High School freshman Andrea Young.
Reportedly- the man showing-off the gun also owned the house where the party was. That guy was arrested and is being held by police.

I have three guns in the closet behind me. I hope none of them "go off" while I am sleeping. I hate it when you just have a gun load itself, point itself, and pull its own trigger. Those fancy automatic aiming and loading guns are nuts. It's weird how they just "go off" on their own.
