At 3:38 am Saturday morning- KC-MO Center Zone police officers responded on a reported shooting in the 1900 block of East Missouri Avenue in the near-Northeast area.
When officers arrived about 3:45 am- they found a male victim with "4" gunshot wounds (according to MAST-EMS) and "a large crowd"- none of whom apparently "saw anything" a C-Z officer said.
An investigation is underway without the limited witness evidence.

I ran a shooting once where a guy walked into a barber shop, dragged a patron out into the street and shot him dead.
It was about 3 pm, and there were two bus stops, a beauty parlor, and a grocery store full of people.
Unfortunately, nobody saw nothing. Out of the 30 people on the street, the only guy who probably saw something was lying there dead.
I hear ya...
Talk about nobody SEEING anything (or better yet- doing anything)- that reminds me of a medical call once to the Hereford House on Main.
Here's a guy who was on the floor in his tipped-over chair- turning blue- with a crowded restaurant of eaters at arms-length of the striken fellow- doing nothing but shovelling dead cattle in their mouths.
It's like- if it doesn't concern ME- stay the Hell out of it- even if someone's dying.
Sheesh...
