K.C. Metroregion WEATHER: New Storm Not A BIG Deal

It now appears any new snow cover for Christmas Day appears negligible- maybe only an inch or two..

There will probably be at least 2-3 periods of light precipitation- some may be the frozen variety- but no major travel problems IN THE Metro and immediately surrounding areas- through Wednesday.

We also could see some sort of winter weather advisory due to light freezing drizzle or rain- but rising temperatures to around the freezing mark should make road treatments effective.

There COULD be some light precip on Christmas evening- but again that shouldn't be of great concern.

I'd be nice to see some snowflakes on Christmas Day anyway....
