The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) in Norman-OK has most of the southern half of the Kansas City MetroRegion- including about the southeastern half of the Central States- in a "slight risk" of severe thunderstorms and their accompanying weather.

This risk runs mainly later this Friday afternoon through early Saturday morning.

The following graphics (click on to biggen) show the risk area- as well as risks for tornadoes- hail and high winds.

CSW will be on-duty overnight tonight and tomorrow night (wintry precip) for updates....
