As a cold front plows into the Metro- an area of freezing rain is not far behind.
It was 34 at Lawrence & 33 in Topeka- both with freezing rain - at 5am..
Temperatures here in south KC-MO have fallen from 68-degrees at 4:45am to 40-degrees at 5:45am..
Keep close check on the weather for at least the next 2-4 hours as a large area of precip moves through the Metro as temperatures fall to near freezing this morning.
