He personified the word "cool" and he was a superstar to America's "Baby-boom" Generation.
Some of his films rank among Hollywood's classics- "Exodus"- "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid"- "The Verdict"- "The Sting"- "Absence of Malice."
Mr. Newman won a long-deserved Oscar in 1987's "Color of Money" with Tom Cruise.
The film world- it's audiences and the Planet Earth has lost a giant- and a true friend.
Paul Newman has died at age 83 of cancer.
