WEATHER BULLETIN: Serious Flash Flooding Likely Northeast MetroRegion



Here is the latest NWS-Pleasant Hill (EAX) Dopplar radar-indicated rainfall across the MetroRegion today.

Refering to the color key on the left of the image (click for full size)- you see an area of dark purple- or 8+-inches of rainfall in Linn County Missouri.

It appears the middle (North) Grand River will catch the full brunt of this and general 6 to 8-inch rainfalls indicated on the radar image. Especially where several streams meet near Mendon-MO.

Daviess- Grundy- Sulllivan- De Kalb- Livingston- Linn and Chariton counties Missouri in the Kansas City MetroRegion are under flash flood warnings- and residents in these counties should take this situation VERY seriously!
