U.S. "Supreme" Court Gives Exxon-Mobil A BIG Break

If you're making money hand over fist- the last thing you want to have to do it pay that profit out in a legal judgement.

Our slacker- pro-corporation Supreme Court agreed- giving Exxon-Mobil a HUGE break from the $2.5-billion judgement against the company after it's 1989 Exxon Valdez enviromental disaster in Alaska.

According to this Associated Press story- E-M only has to pay 1/5 of that amount- or $500-million.

In totally unrelated news- President Hoover W. Bush says "Iraq's economy is improving."

If we can't persuade the Bushes to MOVE to Iraq when he quits darkening our nation with his "leadership"- the next appointed or elected president should make him Ambassador to Iraq.
