KANSAS CITY MetroRegion WEATHER: Today's Severe Storm Risk Area And Current Radar

Again today- the current SPC forecast of a chance for severe thunderstorms again is in the northern through northwest portions of the Kansas City MetroRegion- as depicted by the current radar image below (click on all images to enlarge them). The current storms are moving east or northeast- the storms you see in the image west of Atchison and St. Joe have developed in just the past hour and a half.

My current thinking is that storm outflows will be even closer to the K.C. Metro this morning and again later today- so MAYBE those of us needing a good rain will be rewarded for your daily Native dance rituals.
