American Bar Association Plans To Restrict Public Records

As reported by the AP- the ABA's pro to this issue is that it's too easy for people to see other people's arrests and/or convictions for crimes.

Most everybody else's astonished con to the issue is that well DUH!- we SHOULD have access to the records of people involved in criminal shenanigans.

ESPECIALLY the news media.

This slow but sure move to secrecy by elected officials (Bush administration) and governmental/quasi-governmental agencies should be alarming to Americans....
