Two Shootings Injure 4 People in KC-MO



At least 4 have gunshot wounds Sunday morning after shootings that occurred in KC-MO- one in the Ruskin Heights area and the other in Midtown.


Around 12:35 a.m. police were called to the area of East 108th Street and Sycamore on the report of shots fired.

South Patrol officers didn't find any victims there- but about 15 minutes later- a male gunshot victim arrived in a car at Research Med Center.

His condition wasn't known as of this report.

About 5 minutes later- KC-MO police dispatch reports that at least 2 more gunshot victims showed up at  Lee's Summit Hospital.

Both of those victims were males- one was 17-years-old- one shot in a shoulder- both shot in their legs.

All 3 gunshot victims reportedly told police they were shot at 108th Street and Sycamore.

There wasn't any suspect information yet available.


The other shooting came around 1:30 a.m. near Linwood & Gillham.

There a male was reportedly "shot in the leg" by "5 black males in a white- 4-door vehicle."

His condition was not life-threatening.
