The rising Missouri River is affecting everything from outdoor activities to travel in and around Metro Omaha.

The affected includes AMTRAK trains going though Omaha- those passengers will be bussed a short distance around tracks closed due to temporary levee construction.
Fortunately one of my annual favorites- the College World Series that's set to open in Omaha's new ballpark in the next few weeks- won't be affected by the rising waters...
According to Omaha officials anyway.
