CSW Weather: "Slight" Chance of Severe Storms Later Today in Northern Kansas City MetroRegion

The Storm Prediction Center in Norman Oklahoma forecasts a "slight risk" of severe thunderstorms across portions of the Central States later today.

The severe storms are possible over portions of Iowa and Nebraska- and that part of the Kansas City MetroRegion generally along and north of U.S. 36 highway- including Metro St. Joseph.

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are possible over the rest of Kansas and Missouri except the southern parts of those states through 7 a.m. CDT Sunday morning.

On Sunday- that severe storm risk area moves further east into Iowa and Missouri.

CSW will post any severe weather watches affecting the Kansas City MetroRegion.
