Double Homicide: Two Bodies Found in Burned-Out Car in KC-MO

Around 6:30 p.m. Monday evening- KC-MO's Pumper 23 got the unremarkable call of a car fire on Cliff Drive near Gladstone Boulevard- below the Kansas City Museum.


While extinguishing the fully-involved car fire- firefighters discovered one- then another body inside the burned-out hulk of metal.

One of the bodies was found in the truck- both were burned beyond recognition.

Police were called- and the investigation was on as forensic detectives tried to establish an identity of the 2 burned bodies.

Police were calling the incident a double homicide- bringing the number of killings in KC-MO close to last year's total of 25 by April 11th.
