Statewide Severe Weather Drill Postponed Until Thursday Because of Severe Weather

Actually it's not severe thunderstorms that caused the drills to be cancelled but winter-type weather.


Disregarding what is said on the NWS Pleasant Hill/Kansas City office Web page- the Kansas and Missouri statewide drills for "severe weather awareness" has been put-off until Thursday- March 10th at 1:30 p.m. local time.


At that new time- residents are encouraged to practice their severe weather drill- i.e.- grab the camera and run outside.
