The National Weather Service's Storm Prediction Center has outlooked the entire Kansas City MetroRegion for a "slight" chance of severe thunderstorms (t-stms) later today and tonight.
This forecast area DOES INCLUDE Metro K.C..
The primary mode of severe weather expected is possible damaging wind gusts of 58 m.p.h. or greater.
Any risk of tornadoes is very small.
