CSW BREAKING: Single-Engine Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Clay County MO Field

It has been reported by Kearney MO Fire that "the pilot's not injured" after his "Cessna 182" developed engine trouble and forced an emergency landing in a field.

The incident was first reported at 10 a.m. in the 19600 block of Northeast 128th Street west of the Clay County Regional airport between Liberty and Excelsior Springs.

The pilot reported "water in the engine" of the plane after he departed Kansas City International airport and attempted to make it to the Clay County airport- but was forced to make that emergency landing in "a field" behind a residence at 19625 N.E. 128th Street.

There was also an uninjured passenger on that single-engine aircraft.

The FAA is enroute too.
