The Army Corps of Engineers has been releasing water from the Red Willow Reservoir north of McCook this week after "a hole" was found in an earthen levee- according to The Lincoln (NE) Star-Journal.
There is NO mention of concern that the dam that holds back 86,630 acre-feet of water is in danger.
