Five companies of Kansas City- Kansas firefighters are battling a house fire in the 6800 block of Webster.
The initial alarm sounded around 1:25 pm Friday afternoon- and smoke and fire was reported coming from a 1-1/2-story house when the first fire truck arrived about 4 minutes later.
There is yet no word on the occupancy status of the structure- the house does have electrical service.
